Julia Clarke

Julia is a level 3 qualified Pilates teacher. She trained with Body Control Pilates and has been teaching since 2017.

Julia first came to Pilates after realising that she needed to bring some balance to her own exercising life, which was high impact and aerobic at the time.  Her knees were suffering, especially from running, and she was recommended Pilates.  She quickly realised that she’d found a way of exercising which was helping her knees and made her strong and flexible in a balanced, and focussed way. It was a perfect complement to her other exercise.

Julia is a lovely teacher, offering a compassionate and patient teaching style, allowing her clients to fully develop their movement, and understanding of Pilates.

Julia is a fully trained Mat work teacher and is Reformer-trained, completing her training through Body Control Pilates. Julia continues to attend regular development courses to expand her knowledge of Pilates.
